Holiday Inn Express Howe (Sturgis, MI) by IHG

Alicia was amazing she had the best customer service! She went above and beyond to make sure our 1 night stay was nothing less than magical!!!! We drove from Wisconsin to celebrate the new year with family and Alicia made sure we could have as much time as possible together! I was sad to not see her the next morning as Tammy did not give us the most hospitality we wanted to check out late but she told us that was not an option due to staff leaving early without even looking to see if anyone had booked our room for the night. I understand it was a holiday however we were willing to pay for the late check out she did say we could stay until noon however we felt obligated to leave as soon as we could. We would definitely go back just because of Alicia she was amazing and very kind I hope she had the most amazing New Year because she made mine very special!

I stopped here while traveling and the five stars is because of Alicia at the front desk. She was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She answered my questions and accommodation requests even though I booked only about an hour prior to arriving. The location is convenient right off the highway and room was fine for what we needed. The hotel is also not just pet friendly but pet welcoming which made us feel comfortable and at ease with our dogs.

The room was exceedingly clean and fresh. Building was well maintained. Front desk made check in easy and fast. Their driveway is easily missed as they share it with another business. Restaurants near by. Morning breakfast was included.. it was absolutely delicious.

Perfect location and nice sized clean room. We arrived late at night but greeted by Alicia with hospitality and warmth. She generously offered a different room facing the quiet side of the street. At breakfast, we were asked what else they can offer before closing the kitchen. Very thoughtful. It was a great short stay for travelers. Highly recommended!

Alicia was lovely and full of energy right from when we entered in the front door. She helped adjust our room to accommodate our pup, and went out of her way to make food recommendations for when we had a late arrival. I felt very welcomed from the beginning and had a great experience.

After quite a long drive I was glad to arrive at a clean, updated and hospitable place. I was warmly greeted at the front desk by Jaime who was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and recommend several places for dinner. I woke up well-rested to a hearty breakfast and soon ready for the next day's journey. Really can't ask for much more while working on the road and I'll definitely stay here again whenever I'm in the area. Happy Holidays, Jaime!

Alicia, at the front desk, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was way above average and was constantly being stocked. This hotel is about a 15/20 minute drive from Shipshewana, but the drive was no bother due to the cost savings, the beautiful commute, and all the above mentioned perks. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Only place we stay (myself & 2 Amish couples) when Visiting Shipshewana Indiana for 2 days of shopping. Easy access for anyone traveling Rt 90. Awsome Manager JAMIE checked us in and was fast and easy. She's a pro at her job. I've personally been using "HIE & S's" for yrs now since first staying at one. Rooms are very well appointed, clean, hot high pressure water fast. Pool also. Great free breakfast with plenty of options for a complete meal or snacks and to go also. Check out the 1 min. pancakes maker!
